Franklin School Council Meeting

Minutes - May 8, 2007

Attendees: Cindy Sousa, Pam Lathrop, Wendy Kahn, Judy Ferres, Debbie Bohrer, Ann Boudreau, Susan Lucy, Lisa Staff

Discussion of proposed override:

• Pam Lathrop reviewed the numbers for Franklin with and without the override
• Regardless of override vote, there will be no school library services with the exception of NAMS/NAHS

Other:

• Half time reading specialist/reading tutor has worked well at Franklin
• We will know what class size looks like by the last day of school
• Kindergarten numbers are low; Franklin will have 2 Full Day and one session of half day next school year
• Reviewed and revised Parent Survey done by Judy Ferres and Wendy Kahn
